Naani — interactive Hindi bedtime stories. Last updated 9 September 2026.

Naani is an app that tells your child a bedtime story aloud and answers them when they speak back. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use the app.

Who may use Naani

The account belongs to a parent or guardian aged 18 or over. Your child does not need an account and cannot create one. You are responsible for what happens on your account, including any subscription bought through it.

What Naani does, plainly

• Every story is written, reviewed and recorded before your child hears it. Naani does not invent stories.
• Her short replies when your child speaks are generated, and they stay inside the story. Naani is not an open-ended chatbot for your child.
• The microphone opens only when the story pauses to ask a question, and only if you have granted microphone permission.

Subscriptions and payment

• One story a night is free, every night, with no time limit.
• A subscription opens all stories. It is ₹299 per month in India and US$4.99 per month elsewhere, charged in your local currency where the store supports it.
• There is no free trial. The free nightly story is the way to try Naani.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Payment is taken by Google Play or the Apple App Store, not by us — we never see your card.
• Cancel any time through your store account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the month you have paid for runs to its end. The free nightly story continues afterwards.
• Refunds are handled by the store you bought through, under its own policy.

Your data

What we collect, and what we do not, is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. You can delete your account, your child’s profile and your listening history at any time from the app’s parent menu or at naani.live/delete-account.

Fair use

Please do not copy, record, redistribute or resell the stories, artwork or audio. They are ours and they took a long time to make. Please do not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.

Availability

Naani needs an internet connection: the story is narrated live from our servers. We aim to keep it running every evening but cannot promise uninterrupted service, and stories may be added, changed or withdrawn.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially we will say so in the app. Continuing to use Naani after a change means you accept the new terms.
