Parents also ask
Is the burning of Lanka scary for young children?
Naani tells it gently. The fire is only ever seen on golden rooftops, far away, and nobody is shown near a flame: guards and townsfolk carry water, safe, and the Ashok Vatika where Sita sits is shown untouched. The fun of the scene is the tail that keeps growing until the soldiers run out of cloth.
What is the chudamani?
The chudamani is the jewel Sita wore in her hair. In the Ramcharitmanas, when Hanuman asks for a token to take back, Sita gives it to him so Ram will know the message truly came from her. In Naani's telling it is a small gold flower-shaped jewel with a ruby at its centre.
Why did Hanuman let Indrajit tie him up?
In the Ramcharitmanas, Indrajit uses Brahma's astra, and Hanuman lets it bind him out of respect for Brahma, and because it lets him meet Ravan face to face. Naani tells children that Hanuman 'honoured it', so he is never shown as weak or helpless.
